Now introducing "AS MADE FAMOUS" a brand new (weekly? bi-weekly? who cares) series in which we create bite-size covers of some of our favorite songs, always with a fresh take.

Here on the official TRZ Blog we’ll talk a little about our relationship with each song, why we chose it, and how the cover came to be.

Connor: This song was kind of ever-present for a period of time in my youth and has stuck with me since. I have performed this song at karaoke and we have even toyed around with TRZ covering this at a live show (TBD). It’s just so fun to sing. The verse is great. The chorus is great. And I know Akon is, like, building entire cities in Senegal right now, but as far as I’m concerned his greatest contribution to society is “woooo hoooo YEEEEE HOOO!!!”
